V. Integration of Education for Sustainable Development to Literature

        Sustainable development is often an over-used word, but goes to the heart of tackling a number of inter-related global issues such as poverty, inequality, hunger and environmental degradation.

      As one of the student and as part of the youth, i could help in achieving sustainable development by being involved in current issues about what is happening now. As a responsible person, the changes must start within myself. I must be responsible for protecting the earth through different ways such as doing the recycling process, be responsible for my waste and etc.


      Another is by helping children through imparting them my knowledge about sustainable development like teaching them how to manage their waste and other simple means of protecting the environment.

       Next is by helping social groups and individuals acquire an awareness to the total environment and issues, questions and problems related to environment and development. Another is by motivating others to participate in environmental improvement and protection. And lastly by being actively involved in working towards creating sustainable environment.
